Specialist Mentor (ASC/Mental Health)
Specialist Mentors provide tailored, one-to-one support for students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) or mental health conditions. They focus on helping you develop practical skills and strategies to manage the demands of university life in a way that works for you.
Your mentor can support you with areas such as organisation, planning, managing stress or anxiety, and adapting to new environments or routines. Sessions are collaborative and student-led, giving you a space to explore challenges, build confidence, and find approaches that suit your individual needs—helping you stay on track and succeed in your studies.
See the steps to set up your support below!
Setting Up DSA Support
Please send us a copy of your DSA2 award letter at: admin@solissupport.com
This letter is usually emailed to you by your funding provider (such as Student Finance England, NHS, Student Finance Wales, Scotland, or The Open University).
We require the complete document. You can forward the original email to us, or alternatively scan and email it. If you don’t have access to a scanner, you can take clear photos of each page and send those instead. Posting a photocopy is also an option if you prefer.
